The 100 year old Sugar Gums at the entrance to Fauntleroy Park are under serious threat: the City of Swan has approved paved carparking bays beneath and between the trees.
A picnic to celebrate the trees and hopefully draw attention to the City of Swan's idiocy was held on the hottest day of the year so far . . . thankfully, the Sugar Gums are still alive and provided some welcome, cooling shade . . .
